Job summary

GardaWorld in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a Mall Security Guard to provide reliable security and friendly customer service in a busy mall environment.

You will perform access control, patrols, and incident reporting while upholding local by-laws and protecting client assets. This role requires strong communication, calm de-escalation, and the ability to work night shifts on a Sunday–Thursday schedule, with comprehensive benefits and GardaWorldAcademy training.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous security industry experience.
• Tactical experience.
• Good with technology.
• Manitoba Security Guard license.
• Customer service oriented.
• Must be able to work day shifts.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
• Performing patrol at the premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Enforce property regulations and city by-laws on the client's site.
• Monitor CCTV cameras.
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Coordinate response to the incidents.
• Respond to telephone calls received by the Security Department.
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.

Responsibilities for Mall Security Guard

• Maintain a safe and Secure environment
