Job summary

CBI Home Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to support clients across Mount Forest, Arthur, Clifford and Shelburne in North Wellington County. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and strong opportunities to impact home-based care.

Responsibilities include ADL/IADL interventions, home modifications, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote independence and safe living at home.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Must be able to travel within the community with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Strong person- and family-centered care approach.
• Strong judgment and critical thinking in client care decisions.
• Excellent communication; capable of working in teams and independently.
• Advocacy for home-based care aligned with client goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT interventions, including ADL/IADL strategies, equipment recommendations, and home modifications.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver care.
• Support restorative health, health coaching, and self-management.
• Use digital platforms for care delivery, documentation, and intervention.
