Job summary

Northern Health in Smithers, BC is seeking a registered Occupational Therapist to join our Home and Community Care Rehab team. You will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services including assessments, treatment planning and execution, equipment prescription, and client education to promote independence across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an OT program and current registration with BC College of Health and Care Professionals.
• Regulated practice requirements and experience in relevant service areas.
• Valid BC driver’s license where required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments and develop / implement treatment plans.
• Provide education and consultation to clients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
