Job summary

Northern Health in Dawson Creek is seeking a registered Occupational Therapist to contribute to Rehabilitation Services with responsibilities across inpatient, outpatient and continuing care settings. The role focuses on assessment, treatment, education and management of patients needing OT services.

The position offers daytime hours, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, in a supportive team within Northern BC.

Qualifications

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Rehabilitation Services department.

A staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessment, treatment, education and management of patients requiring Occupational Therapy. Therapy involves participation in treatment; quality assessment and ongoing continuing education in inpatient, outpatient and continuing care settings.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00

Qualfications
  • Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy Program.
  • Registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
Skills and Abilities
  • Physical skill and ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Sound professional judgment and initiative based on education and experience in the field of Occupational Therapy.
  • Ability to work independently, organize time, set priorities and accurately perform work.
