AMHS-KFLA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team across the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington area. The role focuses on treatment, rehabilitation, and supports to individuals with addictions and/or serious mental illness in community settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating individualized plans, performing assessments, and collaborating with an interprofessional team to enable meaningful self-care and recovery in clients’

Qualificações

• Master of Science in Occupational Therapy preferred, Bachelor degree with relevant experience will be considered
• Current unrestricted registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• One year experience in community mental health is preferred
• First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
• Suicide Intervention Skills an asset, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention an asset

Responsabilidades

• Assess and treat clients as part of an interprofessional ACT Team
• Coordinate individualized treatment plans and services
• Support clients towards community living, rehab, and recovery
• Utilize community resources to meet client needs
• Work in environments chosen by clients, including rotation across KFLA locations
