Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Two years' recent experience with psychiatric clients in acute/community settings.
• Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
• Eligible for CAOT-BC membership and a valid BC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Screens and assesses functional capacity, performance, and supports.
• Develops and documents individualized rehabilitation plans with clients and team.
• Delivers direct individual and group interventions to support goals.
• Liaises with community agencies to link clients to life skills, education and programs.
• Interprets psychosocial rehabilitation concepts to the ACT team and maintains contacts with services.
• Participates in client conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Acts as a consultant to services delivering rehabilitation in the community.
• Plans with clients, families and providers to tailor service delivery within resources.
• Provides progress reports and quarterly data to the team; supports monitoring and training.
