Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy.

• AADL Authorizer status is an asset.
• Experience with MDS and/or RAI would be beneficial.
• Occupational Therapy experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and reassesses residents to identify issues and rehabilitation needs.
• Establishes resident goals and documents treatment plans.
• Maintains communication with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a consistent care program.
• Maintains residents’ statistics and contributes to department policies and procedures.
• May orient or supervise employees or volunteers.
• Ensures safe equipment and department conditions for residents and staff.
