The Registered Nurse (RN) at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere, AB, is responsible for delivering safe, ethical nursing services to residents as part of a collaborative care team. ## Registered Nurse Temp PT - AgeCare DawsonApply: Calgary, Alberta, Canada: Part time: Posted Yesterday: R26\\_06668**The Opportunity**The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible to the Director of Care collaborating on the delivery of resident care to meet individual needs within his/her level of competency. They will integrate and apply the knowledge, skills, judgment, and interpersonal attributes required to provide safe and ethical professional nursing services to residents. The RN provides quality and safe resident care. The RN promotes health and safety awareness in the workplace. Within the scope of this position, the RN takes on a key role to continually provide an environment promoting a culture of resident safety and freedom from harm and injury.**What You Will Do*** Coordinates nursing and other services for the residents within the neighbourhood and with other services within the residence.* Leads shift report with members of the health care team, ensuring that all team members are informed of changes in residents’ status.* Records significant changes in residents’ condition; ensures documentation in the residents’ chart adheres to AgeCare policies and procedures and Provincial College of Nurses and Standards of Practice.* Reviews and processes physician orders as per procedure, ensuring orders are implemented as soon as possible.
