Job summary

Gowan Consulting on Vancouver Island, BC is seeking occupational therapists for full-time, part-time, permanent, and subcontracting roles. The practice offers clinical occupational therapy assessments and interventions delivered in-person or virtually, with opportunities to work across Canada and support workplace return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with a Canadian OT regulator.
• Willingness to travel within an agreed geography to employee, client, and employer sites.
• Experience with ergonomic assessment and workplace wellness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person or virtual occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with employers, employees, and subcontractors to support return-to-work goals.
• Maintain accurate, compliant case notes and billing records in the case management system.

Required

• The ability to travel to employee, client, and employer sites within an agreed geography.
• Registered and in good standing with a Canadian occupational therapy regulator and able to provide in-person services in your province of residence.
• Technologically able to use email, MS Word, Excel (for subcontractors), and will be trained on the use of our case management system for daily file management entries, billing, and reporting.
