Job summary

TELUS Health Children Support in Mississauga is a collaborative clinic where pediatric OT staff coordinate care to support each child’s independence and growth. You will conduct assessments and deliver individual and small-group interventions with thoughtful, evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and full COTO registration.
• At least 2 years of pediatric experience, ideally with autism.
• Ability to work Saturdays consistently and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions focused on self-care, sensory processing, and motor development.
• Build a caseload of ~5+ clients per day and coordinate care with the team.
• Collaborate daily with behavior therapists, SLPs, and psychologists to support holistic outcomes.
• Document clinical services and track progress.

Job description

At TELUS Health Children Support, you'll work with a collaborative team that's genuinely invested in each child's independence and growth. Our Mississauga clinic is fully equipped with modern treatment spaces (including a dedicated OT gym) and staffed by SLPs, behaviour therapists, and psychologists who coordinate care seamlessly. You'll have real autonomy, strong peer support from our OT network across clinics, and the backing of a stable, well-resourced organization.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct assessments and deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions focused on everyday skills: self-care, sensory processing, motor development, emotional regulation, and thinking skills
• Build a caseload of ~5+ clients per day, managing diverse needs and coordinating care with the broader team
• Collaborate daily with behaviour therapists, speech pathologists, and psychologists to support holistic outcomes
• Document clinical services

What You Bring:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, fully registered with COTO
• 2 years of pediatric experience, ideally supporting children with autism
• Clinical confidence and ability to practice autonomously (no day-to-day supervision available on-site)
• Absolute willingness to work Saturdays consistently

Great to Have:

• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort managing a productive caseload and billing targets
• Familiarity with therapy gym equipment and sensory integration approaches
