Job summary

SE Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to make an impact in the Halton region, delivering client-centered therapy in home or community settings. You will assess, plan, and implement goal-directed programs that align with client priorities and safety needs.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited OT program in Ontario and in good standing.
  • Recent experience in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation preferred.
  • Reliable, flexible, collaborative professional able to work with rehab teams.
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications.
  • Hybrid work model with remote and client-site visits.

Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs is preferred
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants as well as with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A positive work and attendance record is essential
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications
  • This role follows a hybrid work approach where you are able to work remotely and with the clients in their acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation setting
