Job summary

SE Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a diverse, collaborative team delivering client-centered care in the Halton region. You will conduct assessments, set goals, and implement individualized treatment programs that address physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in acute/rehab or community-based rehab preferred.
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively with rehab assistants and a high-performance team.
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications.
  • Hybrid work model: remote work and client-site care.

Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in managing patients inacute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs is preferred
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants as well as with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A positive work and attendance record is essential
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications
  • This role follows a hybrid work approach where you are able to work remotely and with the clients in their acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation setting
