As a Registered Nurse in Obstetrics, you’ll be providing support to patients through pregnancy, labour and delivery, and post-partum care.

Our Must Haves

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License and currently registered with good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • 3+ years experience in a Labour & Delivery unit
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certificate
  • Fetal Health Surveillance in Labour (FHSL) certificate
  • Breastfeeding course completion or relevant experience
  • Perinatal or Obstetrics Nursing certificate
  • Acute Care of at-Risk Newborns course completion is preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred
  • Experience caring for Palliative care patients is a plus!
  • Caring and empathetic, acts always with integrity & respect
  • Responsive and accountable, with strong communication skills
  • Flexible, easily able to adapt to new and different environments
  • Strong decision-making, can make timely and effective decisions
  • Basic computer skills; experience with email correspondence, online submissions etc.
