The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Paul’s Hospital is seeking applications for a Generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist position with a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at the University of British Columbia. The anticipated start date is November 1st, 2025, or a mutually agreed date.
St. Paul’s Hospital is a major academic center in Vancouver dedicated to clinical education at undergraduate, postgraduate, and advanced training levels. We are moving to a new campus in Spring 2027. The new hospital will be a state-of-the-art facility with 546 beds and 16 operating rooms, including two dedicated operating rooms for maternity care. We are expanding our services in Complex OB and GYN surgery in preparation for the move. Candidates with additional training or experience in pelvic ultrasound (OB or GYN), MIGS, pelvic pain/endometriosis, complex OB, colposcopy, or menopause are highly valued.
The successful candidate will be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and eligible for licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. The position reports to the Site Department Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St. Paul’s Hospital.
This role is funded by fee-for-service through the British Columbia Medical Services Plan, with stipends for clinical teaching.
