The Oak Tree Clinic at BC Women's Hospital specializes in the care of women, children, persons, and families living with HIV and other reproductive infectious diseases. We serve over 600 adults, 200 children and youth, and 200 pregnant individuals, providing holistic, culturally safe, and trauma-informed care. Our multidisciplinary team includes Infectious Diseases specialists, NPs, OBGYNs, Pediatricians, Psychiatrists, counselors, outreach and nursing staff, social workers, pharmacists, clerks, dieticians, and research associates. We operate as both a specialty Infectious Diseases clinic and a primary care provider for patients living with HIV, with a focus on women's health. We are seeking an Obstetrical care specialist for women and persons living with HIV who are pregnant, require gynecological consultation, or are impacted by obstetrical and gynecologic infections. The ideal candidate will be an OBGYN with training in infectious disease. As a vital member of the Oak Tree Clinic team, you will provide direct and indirect clinical care, participate in interdisciplinary clinical and educational rounds, offer telephone support across the province, teach learners, and engage in research and guideline development. You will report to the Oak Tree Clinic Medical Director and the Department Head at BC Women's Hospital.
Applicants must have fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics and Gynecology, preferably with subspecialty training in Infectious Diseases. Additional experience in women's health or marginalized populations is an asset. Candidates must be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia.
