Job summary

Thales Group in Ottawa is seeking an Obsolescence Co-op/Intern to join the Reliability team. You will assist in tracking obsolescence, evaluating alternative components, and analyzing trends to improve asset longevity and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and supply chain, gaining exposure to industry best practices and hands-on mentorship in reliability engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant college or university program (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Reliability Engineering, or related).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with guidance.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Prior knowledge or coursework related to reliability engineering or obsolescence management is an asset.

Responsibilities
