St. Joseph's Health Care London is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide in London, Ontario, within the Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care. You will support Food & Nutrition Services, assisting with meal preparation and service for patients and residents.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma required.
• Safe Food Handlers certification required before start date.
• Completion of Food Service Worker Certificate or currently enrolled in the Food Service Worker Program and obtain certificate within 3 years of hire.
• Knowledge of institutional food service and therapeutic diets.
• Knowledge of safe food handling.
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with OHSA.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• Health and physical condition consistent with constant bending, standing, walking, or lifting up to 28 kg.
• Strong customer service commitment.
• Ability to work in a busy environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• A CPIC police record check within the last 6 months is required for the successful candidate
