Job summary

The University of Alberta in Edmonton is seeking a Recurring Auxiliary to support the Nursing Simulation Centre (NSC). The position is in-person at North Campus Edmonton and works with the NSC Operations Lead and Executive Director to deliver hands-on learning experiences, including iVR, vSim, and standardized patient simulations.

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, adaptable, and service-oriented, and must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up labs and assist with inventory ordering.
• Maintain clinical laboratory equipment and assist with administrative duties.
• Deliver simulated learning experiences (iVR, vSim, standardized patient simulations).
• Provide frontline support to students and faculty for NSC services and resources.
• Coordinate audio-visual support for lab teaching and liaise with internal and external contacts.
