Jubilee Centre in Timmins, Ontario, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner and Supervisor to join its leadership team. You will provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, deliver primary care and addiction/mental health services, and coordinate care with physicians and partners in a recovery-oriented setting.

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the role emphasizes program planning, policy development, and quality improvement while supporting on-call duties and a collaborative, multidisciplinary

Formación

  • Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (RN-EC) or Nurse Practitioner in good standing
  • Registration in good standing with a Canadian nursing regulatory body in Extended Class may be considered
  • Minimum two years of experience in primary care and/or addiction and mental health services preferred

Responsabilidades

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the nursing team

  • Support integrated treatment approaches involving addiction, mental health, withdrawal management, and recovery services

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and utilize electronic health records
  • Promote equitable, culturally safe, and client-centered care practices

Join Jubilee Centre's leadership team and help advance innovative, integrated addiction and mental health services while providing clinical leadership, primary care, and nursing supervision in a recovery-oriented environment.

Jubilee Centre is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Nurse Practitioner and Supervisor to join our leadership team.

Reporting to the Clinical Director and working closely with physicians, psychiatrists, community partners, and internal leadership, the successful candidate will provide direct supervision to front-line nursing staff while helping to plan, implement, and enhance integrated addiction, mental health, withdrawal management, and primary care services.

This position plays a key role in expanding access to specialized care while supporting quality improvement, innovation, and clinical excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the nursing team
  • Deliver primary care and addiction and mental health services within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and community partners to coordinate client care
  • Support the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services
  • Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff
  • Contribute to policy development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support integrated treatment approaches involving addiction, mental health, withdrawal management, and recovery services
  • Participate in on-call duties as required
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and utilize electronic health record systems
  • Promote equitable, culturally safe, and client-centered care practices
Education & Registration
  • Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (RN-EC) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, or eligible candidate awaiting licensure
  • Registration in good standing with a Canadian nursing regulatory body in the Extended Class may also be considered
Experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in primary care and/or addiction and mental health services preferred
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and evaluating front-line staff
  • Experience in program planning, policy development, and evaluation considered an asset
  • Experience working with diverse, marginalized, and underserved populations
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, Microsoft Office, and virtual care technologies
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive sense of humour
Additional Assets
  • CNA certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
  • Training or certification in OAT/ORT prescribing and anti‑craving therapies
  • Experience with OTN and virtual healthcare delivery
  • Indigenous cultural competency and knowledge of traditional healing approaches
  • Knowledge of Cree, Ojibway, or Oji-Cree languages
  • Lived experience with recovery and mental health challenges

  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
  • Ability to participate in rotating on‑call responsibilities
Preference May Be Given To
  • Applicants fluent in both English and French
  • Applicants with knowledge of Indigenous languages and healing practices
  • Applicants with lived experience and sustained recovery experience
Salary & Benefits
  • $115,300 – $125,000 annually
Hours of Work
  • 40 hours per week, including a one‑hour paid meal period.
