University College of the North invites applications for a Diploma in Practical Nursing College Instructor. The role focuses on teaching, curriculum development, and supporting student success within a northern Manitoba setting.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with an undergraduate nursing degree, CRNM membership in good standing, and at least five years of nursing experience. Strong communication, organization, and IT skills are essential, with sensitivity to Indigenous

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an undergraduate degree in Nursing.
• Active CRNM membership with no restrictions.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Diploma in Practical Nursing program and promote interdisciplinary care.
• Manage classrooms, supervise and advise students, and maintain records/grades.
• Contribute to curriculum review and development; handle program administrative tasks.
• Assist with university promotion, student recruitment and other program duties.
