Alignerr is seeking a Nursing Informatics Specialist for AI training on a fully remote, hourly contract basis. The role leverages clinical experience to evaluate AI-generated content and workflows, ensuring accuracy and real-world applicability.

You will contribute expert feedback to improve AI model quality in healthcare contexts. Ideal candidates are registered nurses with health IT experience, adept at interpreting EHR usage and clinical documentation.

Qualifications

Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training)

About The Role

Your clinical expertise is more valuable than you know - beyond the bedside. We're looking for experienced nurses with health IT knowledge to help evaluate and improve AI systems being built for healthcare environments. Your real-world understanding of nursing workflows, EHR systems, and clinical documentation will directly shape how AI understands and supports patient care. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside world-leading AI research teams.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical content, documentation, and workflows for accuracy, safety, and real-world applicability
• Apply your nursing knowledge to assess how well AI systems reflect actual clinical practice and EHR usage
• Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe outputs in AI responses related to nursing informatics and health IT

Who You Are

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with hands-on experience in clinical informatics or health IT
• Experienced with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or similar systems
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and nursing best practices
• Able to analyze clinical scenarios and communicate insights clearly in writing
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in nursing informatics, health data management, or clinical systems implementation
• Familiarity with clinical decision support tools or interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
