Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Population Health Informaticist to guide AI training on population-level health data. You will evaluate AI outputs, ensure clinical relevance, and help refine data pipelines and surveillance frameworks.

This remote, freelance role offers 10–40 hours per week, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to influence cutting-edge health AI projects with global labs.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and improve AI-generated analyses of population health datasets for accuracy, depth, and clinical relevance
• Identify gaps, errors, or misinterpretations in AI outputs related to health trends, disparities, and community outcomes
• Provide structured expert feedback on data pipelines, dashboard logic, and health surveillance frameworks
• Apply your knowledge of epidemiology, health equity, and public health informatics to guide AI reasoning
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
• Skilled in data analysis, visualization, or health informatics tools and reporting frameworks
• Able to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
• Comfortable evaluating and critiquing technical health data work at scale

Nice to Have

• Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or health informatics
• Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation systems
