Nursing Support Incentive Program

Job summary

UNC Health seeks a Nursing Assistant I for Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. The role provides routine direct and indirect patient care under RN or physician supervision, in a 36-hour work week, onsite.

Eligible for the Nursing Support Incentive Program, with salary range $17.43–$24.05 per hour and a structured onboarding process. Qualifications include NC Nursing Assistant I certification and BLS, with a preference for 6 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Able to develop basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Observe, collect, and document patient information and report changes to RN/physician.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care including daily living activities and post-operative care.
• Support patient education and discharge planning with the care team.
