Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant I certification (NC DHHS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Six months nursing assistant experience preferred
• Fluent in English and able to develop basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Observe, collect, and document patient information and report changes to nurse/physician.
• Provide direct personal care to patients and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support unit operations: transport, stocking supplies, cleaning/sterilizing instruments.
• Reinforce patient education and document understanding of instructions.
