Job summary

KLon Services Ltd. is seeking workers for floriculture production on-site in a rural Alberta setting. The role involves outdoor work at heights, tending and pruning trees, and greenhouse upkeep, with opportunities for relocation and staff housing as needed.

• Cultivate on vertical farming system
• Cut horticultural crops
• Greenhouse cleaning
• Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions

• Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
• Tie and secure plants
• Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
• Weeding
• Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
• Mix and prepare soils

• Pot and re-pot plants
• Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
