Job summary

BHS Greenhouses Ltd. is seeking workers to perform cultivation tasks in our greenhouse facilities in Canada. The role involves handling crops, harvesting vegetables, pruning, soil preparation, and maintaining equipment and cleanliness of work areas. Training is provided with no prior experience required.

Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg and comply with safety standards. On-site work only.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; training provided on site.

• Able to work outdoors in a greenhouse environment and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Clean the crops and harvest vegetables by hand.
• Cut and trim horticultural crops; prune as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and greenhouse.
• Transplant seedlings and pot plants; tie and secure plants.
• Water, monitor climate controls, and tend to plants daily.
