Job summary

Vital property services Inc. is seeking a landscape supervisor to oversee planting, grounds maintenance, and staff scheduling at our Grande Prairie location. The role requires hands-on leadership for planting trees, lawns and gardens, while coordinating contractors and schedules.

You will read blueprints, manage materials, and ensure safety and quality across outdoor projects. Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years’ landscape experience, a college certificate or diploma in a related field, and strong

College certificate or diploma in landscape horticulture or related program, or equivalent experience.
2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance or related field.
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather and at heights.

Responsibilities

Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns.
Hire, supervise and schedule staff.
Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns.
Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase value and functionality of a property.
Schedule events, programs and activities.

Plan and direct grounds maintenance.
Plan and estimate labour and materials.
Organize and direct construction of decks and walls.
Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work.
