The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre located in Montreal, Quebec. It is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Under the supervision of the Technical Platform Manager - Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM), and following established governmental guidelines and regulations, the incumbent is responsible for administering and adjusting treatments and medications to research patients, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the CIM Infusion nurses, following policies and procedures, and using a holistic approach to patient care.
The Centre for Innovative Medicine is located in the new Glen site hospital, a unique 5000 m2 center in Canada dedicated exclusively to clinical research.

Act as a resource to assist in the care of research patients requiring complex care, administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, infuse blood products when necessary, evaluate health status, determine treatment continuation, work with interdisciplinary teams, provide resources to patients, ensure proper documentation, review protocol trainings, and perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Status: Full Time
Pay Scale: $62,389.60 - $115,824.80, commensurate with qualifications and experience
Work Shift: 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend hours
Work Site: Centre for Innovative Medicine, MUHC Glen Site
