The salary range for this position is CAD $59.56 - $85.62 / hour

Job Summary

Fraser Health is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed care at our Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) in Port Moody, B.C. Located within the Tri-Cities, Port Moody offers access to parks, transit, and a vibrant, diverse community. The UPCC delivers timely, person-centered, culturally safe primary care through a holistic, team-based model including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat undifferentiated diseases and conditions within your scope of practice.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor ongoing care, and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals, and provide patient and family education.
  • Prescribe medications within regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff, participate in research, and contribute to health policy and population health initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Recent relevant clinical experience.
