Saskatchewan Health Authority in Rosetown is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Primary Care Sites team at Rosetown Health Centre. This full-time regular role offers a challenging practice in a community setting with patient-centered care.

The NP will blend advanced nursing knowledge with diagnostic and prescribing authority to manage common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions, within an inter-professional team and evidence-based primary care framework.

Qualifications

• Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) required.
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).

Job Description: Advanced practice nurse with knowledge and skills gained through additional education and experience. Nurse blends an in-depth knowledge of nursing with the legal authority and autonomy to order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals and perform specific procedures in the management and treatment of common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions patients. Position practices within a framework of evidence-based primary care, holism, health promotion, and disease and injury prevention. Practice involves building partnerships with individuals, families, and communities. This includes community needs assessments; supporting inter-professional collaboration and participating in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects. provides clinical assessment and treatment strategies that reflect in-depth knowledge of the care populations.
