Jarlette Health Services seeks a Nurse Practitioner for their long-term care home in scenic Stayner, Ontario. This summer's opening of a modern and technologically enhanced new building offers the Nurse Practitioner a dynamic and supportive workplace along with a positive and stimulating atmosphere.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a third party contractor and forms part of the interdisciplinary management team with the role of practitioner, consultant, educator and advocate. The NP practices autonomously, offering the full scope of primary health care nurse practitioner practice. He/she functions as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the resident's plan of care. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with Medical Directors, other physicians and community services and agencies in the provision of primary health care for the residents. The Nurse Practitioner will also collaborate with the Director of Care in the provision and advancement of nursing services, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Nursing department.

Employment with Jarlette Health Services will be contingent on receipt of a current (within the past 6 months) criminal reference check including vulnerable sector screening before starting at the location, proof of vaccination against COVID-19, a screening for tuberculosis, including vulnerable sector screening and two ( 2 ) supervisory references that are satisfactory to the employer.
