Department: General Medical Nursing Unit – Medicine – Vic Level 6

Employment Terms: Temporary part‑time (0.5 FTE, 56 hours per 3 weeks)

Start Date: July 6, 2026

End Date: October 17, 2026

Responsibilities

Ensures all work is in alignment with the organization's missions, goals, values, and strategic plans to promote high-quality, safe client care. Accomplishes this by assisting in establishing and maintaining best practice; assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating unit orientation, in‑servicing, and other educational programming; assessing learning needs; acting as a clinical resource; promoting client and family‑centered care; participating in committee work as assigned; participating in continuous improvement activities; developing and maintaining client and staff resources. The incumbent functions as a member of the interprofessional clinical team to promote effective delivery of client care, including regular direct communication and input from unit managers of Nursing.
