Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. in Pickering, Ontario, is seeking a Series Trainer to develop and deliver training for the CanAtom project’s four nuclear units. You will update curriculums, prepare instructional materials, and manage worker-qualification records to ensure safe, compliant performance.

The role requires a post-secondary degree/diploma or apprenticeship, 3–5 years of nuclear experience, Red Seal UA Pipefitter certification, and EPSCA knowledge. Travel and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma or apprenticeship required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of nuclear experience (security clearance).
  • Red Seal UA Pipefitter certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of EPSCA collective agreement is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain training packages (control of documents).
  • Prepare instructional presentations and attendance records.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for worker qualifications.
  • Collaborate closely with training managers, supervision, and other series trainers.
  • Promote safety, quality, and participation in series training.
  • Identify ongoing training demands across the project.
  • Perform related duties including on-site support when needed.
