Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, in partnership with Aecon, is seeking a Jr. Project Specialist to support the Tooling team on the Pickering RFBR project. You will coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, and testing and help track progress with stakeholders.

This role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven reporting with Excel, MS Project, and Power BI, and adherence to quality and nuclear safety standards. Hybrid work arrangement and many opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

Ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities within complex engineering projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, and MS Project.
Aptitude for building strong working relationships with stakeholders, clients, and project teams.
Ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal channels.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities and communication between Tooling team members, project work groups, and the client.
Implement tooling schedules for engineering, procurement, and testing activities.
Monitor project progress and elevate issues and risks to management as required.
Collect project updates and prepare progress reports and meeting minutes.
Collaborate with project controls teams to support cost and schedule reporting.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality program requirements and nuclear safety standards.
Support Tooling Managers and the Deputy Project Director in the execution of RFBR Tooling project scope.
