Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks a Project Manager, Tooling for the CanAtom Power Group to oversee the engineered tooling lifecycle—from design through readiness and delivery—to support on-schedule, on-budget execution.

The role requires a strong nuclear background, extensive tooling experience, and leadership of a technical team in a project-driven environment. Travel between sites and vendor shops may be necessary, with a focus on safety and quality culture.

Qualifications

• Engineering background is preferred but not required.
• Strong background in retube tooling designs and CANDU fuel channel design.
• At least 10 years in the nuclear industry.
• Experience leading a technical team in a project-centric environment.
• Familiarity with CANDU sites and work processes is highly valued.
• Must be able to hold Nuclear Energy Worker status.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, project management strategy, schedule, cost, and client communications.
• Manage tooling design, procurement, testing, refurbishment and readiness to meet cost and schedule.
• Interface with vendors and OPG stakeholders for tooling delivery documentation.
• Maintain relationships with CanAtom, client and vendor partners to demonstrate ONE TEAM culture.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure quality program compliance.
• Support cost and schedule reporting with project controls.
