Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks a Project Engineering Coordinator to support equipment packages for the Darlington New Nuclear Project, coordinating engineering, procurement and stakeholder activities. Responsibilities include maintaining vendor document reviews, monitoring actions and risks, and assisting with project reporting and management reviews.

A degree in Engineering or related field with 1–3 years of experience is preferred; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential in a

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience supporting engineering, procurement, construction, manufacturing, or project delivery activities.
Familiarity with procurement processes, equipment supply, and vendor management is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of procurement engineering documentation and related documents.
Establish and maintain vendor document review workflows and ensure timely closure of comments.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, construction, commissioning, subcontractors, suppliers and the customer to resolve technical and commercial actions.
Monitor action items, risks, issues and commitments with follow-up and resolution.
Support project schedule development, progress tracking and reporting activities.
Prepare meeting agendas and support stakeholder engagement and management reviews.
