Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Director to lead Procurement Engineering in Canada. You will direct strategic governance, shape engineering procurement strategies, and connect engineering with supply chain and project delivery to enable successful nuclear and conventional projects.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, develop supplier design management and technical specifications, and drive continuous improvement across the function with a focus on risk, quality and lifecycle cost.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in highly regulated industries.
• Ability to develop and oversee technical procurement specifications and supplier designs.
• Proven track record in driving operational excellence and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategic direction and governance for Procurement Engineering.
• Lead development and oversight of technical procurement specifications and supplier designs.
• Champion a smart buyer philosophy balancing risk, quality, schedule and lifecycle cost.
• Provide leadership to Procurement Engineering managers and SMEs.
• Strengthen collaboration across Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing and Project Delivery.
• Develop workforce capability through talent management, training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Engage with senior executives, strategic suppliers and stakeholders to support major procurement decisions.
