Job summary

Prosperity Workforce Solutions seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Edmonton, AB. The role supports multiple clinics with on-site imaging, including PET/CT training opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

New graduates and students nearing diploma completion are welcome. You will train under experienced radiologists and technologists, rotating across sites and performing bone scans, renal imaging, and stress tests, while ensuring patient care and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• CAMRT and ACMDTT registrations are required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to float between Edmonton-area clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Support our 6 Nuclear Medicine departments.
• Perform exams such as Bone scans and Renal Imaging.
• Conduct Myocardial Perfusion Stress Tests with SPECT/CT imaging.
• Provide exceptional patient care and document histories accurately.
• Complete worksheets and share results with Radiologists.
• Maintain equipment and ensure privacy and safety

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location:Edmonton, AB (various clinics)

Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

The Opportunity

You'll gain valuable hands‑on experience in nuclear medicine while learning from experienced technologists, radiologists, physicians, and clinic teams.

Opportunities to train in PET/CT will be provided throughout your career. With on‑the‑job training and opportunities to build your skills and confidence, you'll be supported as you transition from the classroom to practice.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support our 6 Nuclear Medicine departments.
• Perform a variety of exams including Bone scans, Renal Imaging, Myocardial Perfusion Stress Tests with SPECT/CT imaging capability at all sites.
• Provide exceptional patient care.
• Ensure patient information and relevant history is accurate and complete.
• Complete worksheets accurately to share with Radiologists.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and time management skills.
• Critical thinking, asks questions and is solution oriented.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all patients and employees.
• Clean, maintain, and trouble shoot equipment.
• Work well within a team and individually.
• Have good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist (CAMRT)
• Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT)
• BLS certification
• Float between clinic locations within and around the Edmonton area.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
• Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
