Job summary

Aecon Concessions, based in Kincardine, Ontario, is seeking a Material Lead to coordinate and optimize material management for the Bruce Power Nuclear site, reporting to the Materials Manager. You will oversee requisitions, inventory control, and delivery status to keep project schedules and quality requirements on track.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in nuclear construction procurement or project coordination, experience with SAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in the nuclear construction industry in a procurement or project coordination role.
• Completion of a Materials and Operations Management program at the college or university level is an asset.
• Enrollment in or completion of the SCMP Accreditation Program is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Bruce Power and/or OPG catalogue ID requirements is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation and coordination of material requisitions for Nuclear and Non-Nuclear materials, equipment and services.
• Coordinate with Procurement to monitor purchase orders, material deliveries and expediting needs.
• Oversee receiving activities, inventory control and SAP goods receipt processing.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and the project team to support timely, quality-compliant material purchases.
• Provide onboarding and knowledge transfer for Material Coordinators and other Materials personnel.
