Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga is seeking a senior manager to provide technical leadership for licensing activities on a new build nuclear project. You will oversee staff, ensure deliverables meet safety and regulatory requirements, and work with clients to align with project goals.

The role requires extensive nuclear engineering experience, Ontario P.Eng. status, and strong communication to coordinate across disciplines and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10 years of engineering experience in a nuclear project environment.
• Knowledge of CANDU design and safety analysis in Canada.
• Understanding of Canadian codes and standards for design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, able to seal documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical management of individuals and teams on commercial and internal work packages.
• Approve technical documents and plan work to meet quality, cost and schedule.
• Remove barriers to deliverables and optimize solutions with staff.
• Provide technical advice and SME input to staff and management.
• Contribute to commercial proposals and approve technical content.
• Forecast resource demands including skills and durations.
• Interface with clients and deliver engineering products per specifications.
