Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks a TML2 Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Technician/Technologist – Development Level to support tooling development, integration, and field service. You will perform testing, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical and control systems used in nuclear projects.

Required: diploma in related tech, 2–5 years in electrical assembly/maintenance, and familiarity with LabVIEW/NI hardware. Travel to sites and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant electrical assembly and field-service experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW and NI hardware is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment across electrical systems.
• Assemble, wire, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and control systems.
• Support setup, testing, and deployment of automated tooling.
• Troubleshoot faults in PLCs, drives, sensors, and panels.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams and mark up as-built drawings.
• Complete work packages and quality records.
