Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an Electrical Technician/Technologist (Working Level) to support the Retube Tooling & Field Services Department. You will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and commission automated and robotic tooling for nuclear refurbishment and field projects, with a focus on Siemens PLCs and electrical control systems.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, vendor, and field teams, perform maintenance, and ensure safety standards across high-voltage and radiological environments

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and commission automated and robotic tooling.
• Assemble, wire, inspect, and maintain electrical control panels and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot Siemens PLCs, drives, and related control-system hardware.
• Perform refurbishment and preventive maintenance on tooling.
• Read schematics and markup as-built drawings.
• Support field-service activities and vendor testing.
• Maintain safety and documentation standards.
