Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks an experienced engineer to advance nuclear instrumentation and control projects, driving QA compliant design, analysis and project coordination. You will lead I&C design and documentation, define system requirements, and interface with clients, suppliers and other disciplines while supporting field walk-downs, commissioning and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited university or equivalent recognized by PEO.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
• 7–12 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Nuclear familiarity or experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform I&C engineering design following QA programs and applicable codes and standards.
• Perform conceptual and/or detailed I&C design and define system requirements.
• Prepare specifications, calculations and related documentation.
• Update design documents and provide input to drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and other design disciplines.
• Provide guidance to designers/drafters and prepare scopes of work.
• Conduct field walk-downs and assist in commissioning.
• Respond to technical inquiries and ensure timely resolutions.
