Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga, Ontario seeks a Mechanical Engineering Analyst to support Field Services projects. The role involves design work, documentation, and technical collaboration under supervision, with potential field assignments including radiological environments.

You will work under supervision, travel to project sites domestically and internationally, and engage with quality and safety procedures while developing engineering capabilities for Candu Field Services projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace engineering from an accredited university.
• Eligible to be registered as Professional Engineer in Ontario.
• Experience with construction, manufacturing or engineering services projects is an asset.
• CAD experience in Solid Edge or SolidWorks is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication and customer relationship skills.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to Safety and integrity in project work.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, perform conceptual and detail design engineering on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Prepare design documentation such as design requirements, descriptions, specifications and drawings.
• Support manufacturing, assembly, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and process controls systems.
• Participate in design meetings with peers, clients and suppliers.
• Collaborate with drafting staff and provide engineering support to quality surveillance.
• Ensure work complies with applicable codes, standards and client procedures.
• Travel to project sites domestically and internationally to support projects.
