Job summary

Aecon Nuclear has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation to support the construction of Canada’s first Small Modular Reactor. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role supports planning, supervision, and scheduling of multiple scopes of work across the project while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years construction and subcontractor supervision experience.
• 2 years nuclear construction experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of all aspects of construction including technology, equipment, methods, EPSCA trade agreements and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction work with methods, manpower, materials, tools, and schedules.
• Ensure alignment with alliance partners and project plans.
• Monitor plans/schedules and identify risks and issues.
• Lead safety, quality, and human performance programs on site.
• Review and ensure adherence to project processes, QA programs, and budget.
