The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for completing project plans including the project charter (project definition), schedule, resource plan, and budget, along with other common project management plans as identified in the PMBOK.
Project rigor will vary with the scope and complexity of the individual project.
The PM must report, at minimum, monthly for projects they are assigned.
The project manager is expected to facilitate planning workshops to develop project materials and lead project teams in a highly matrixed environment.
Project management work will be allocated to resources with appropriate levels of experience and skill. The vendor will provide options for assigning expert, senior, and intermediate-level project management resources.
Expert project management resources must have at least 5 years of IMIT project management experience in the healthcare sector, along with industry-recognized certifications or education.
Senior project management resources must have at least 2 years of IMIT project management experience in the healthcare sector, along with industry-recognized certifications or education.
Intermediate project management resources should have either an industry-recognized certification or education, or 2 years of IMIT project management experience.
