Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Telecoms NOC Analyst to join our client’s monitoring and support team in Kimberley. The role focuses on real-time monitoring of the telecommunications network, rapid response to service disruptions, and maintaining network stability and performance.

You will collaborate with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot issues, document all incidents, and escalate as needed in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a NOC, technical support, or systems administration.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and TCP/IP, SNMP protocols.
• Knowledge of routers, switches and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure and services using NOC tools and identify issues.
• Respond to network alerts, diagnose faults, and start troubleshooting per protocols.
• Document incidents, actions and resolutions in the ticketing system with accuracy.
