Job summary

Gtrworldwide is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Canada to oversee production and transportation activities ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will manage inventory, schedule shipments, and liaise with internal teams and external carriers to maintain efficient logistics operations.

5 positions available. Duties include coordinating production runs, tracking shipments, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience in logistics, transportation or production coordination within a distribution, manufacturing or transportation environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems, transportation management systems and spreadsheet software.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of production runs and transportation to meet delivery timelines and production targets.
• Arrange, track and follow up on inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with carriers, suppliers and warehouses.
• Maintain and update inventory records, forecasts and reorder levels using inventory management systems.
• Prepare and verify shipping and transportation documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics, identify bottlenecks and recommend or implement process improvements.
• Communicate with operations, customer service and external stakeholders to resolve issues and coordinate deliveries.
