Job summary

GTR Worldwide in Saskatoon is seeking an organized medical office administrator to provide essential clerical support in a clinical setting. You will manage patient appointments, records, and communications, ensuring smooth front-desk operations and high-quality patient service.

Working with care teams, you will handle EMR data, billing tasks, and routine reporting while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in medical office administration, health administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a medical office, clinic, or similar health care setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and manage clinicians' calendars.
  • Greet and register patients, collect and update demographic and health information.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records and paper files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process billing, prepare invoices, submit insurance claims, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Answer, screen and triage incoming calls; coordinate referrals and communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and clinical documentation and provide general administrative support to clinical staff.

Job Summary
