Job summary

Retailors (Fox Group) in Canada seeks a Store Director to lead Nike Retail Stores within the company, overseeing sales, merchandising, operations, and staff to deliver a premium customer experience.

You will recruit and develop talent, manage weekend/evening shifts, align store activities with brand plans, and report on store performance while driving growth across the network.

Qualifications

• Extensive retail experience including 2+ years experience in management.
• Enthusiasm and passion about sports and / or sports fashion.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays, and some overnights as required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager by managing sales, merchandising, operations or a specific floor/business.
• Performing store management functions in the absence of Head Coach.
• Coordinating and supervising daily activities of business support staff.
• Setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinating with other supervisors.
• Applying management skills to improve efficiency and achieve operational objectives within own unit.
• Recruiting and hiring top talent to ensure a diverse and energetic work environment.
• Setting priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines and developing plans for short-term objectives.
• Aligning daily work with brand plans and participating in initiatives and programs.
• Preparing statistical and narrative reports of store activities.
• Communicating with Visual team and overseeing site maintenance.

What You'll Do:

• Assisting the Store Manager (Head Coach) by managing one or more of the store functions (sales, merchandising, operations, accounting, etc.) or by managing a particular floor/business in a store
• Performing all store management functions in absence of Head Coach

Pay range: $42,000 - 50,000/annually
